Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna (HNB) Garhwal University, popularly known as Garhwal University, is situated at Srinagar in Pauri Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. The University was founded in 1973 under the UP State Act and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Its campuses are located at Srinagar, Pauri and Tehri region of Uttarakhand. The University conducts several higher educational programmes in different disciplines at various degree levels, via its constituent colleges / institutes.
