Project Title : (No)“Studies on Processing and Disposal of Municipal Solid Waste in Hilly Areas”. Project No. (C-7-1764)

Qualification : B. Tech (Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering) /M. Sc (Chemistry/Environmental Science/Biotechnology) with minimum 55% marks for General Category and 50 % for SC/ST Category

Pay Scale : Rs. 12000/? 1(the number of position may vary at the time of engagement)

Age Limit : 28 years (relaxation for SC/st/OBC candidates as per Govt of India orders

National Environmental Engineering Research Institute , inviting application for the post of Project Assistant II

Project Title : National Ambient Air Quality Monitoring (NAAQM)

Qualification : M.Sc. (Environmental Science / management) / M.Sc. (Chemistry) or equivalent with min. 55% marks

Preferably in use/operation of air quality monitoring equipment like respirable dust samples, high volume samplers, fine particulate sampler, stack monitoring kit, etc.Note : 55% marks for General category and minimum 50% marks for SC/ST category.

No of Post : 01

Age Limit: 28 yrs. Age relaxation : 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC for all categories of project assistants in addition to the required age limit. Widows, divorced woman and women judicially separated who are not remarried are allowed age concession up to the age of 35 years (40 years for members of SC/STs) – No other women entitled for such relaxation.
